Portfolio is one of the premium features available in SheShoppes Premium Theme plugin. Make sure that you have SheShoppes Premium plugin installed and activated.
How to add a portfolio post
Go to the Portfolio menu that is available on your dashboard, and click Add New.
In the post title field, enter the title of your portfolio post.
You can skip the content, subtitle, and description box.
Under the Gallery section, click the Add to Gallery button. Choose your images and click the Select button.
You can choose how you want the gallery to be displayed.
In the “featured image” box, upload a photo of the reviewer (mandatory).
Click publish to publish the post.
The portfolio index/archive page
Once you install and activate the SheShoppes Premium Theme plugin, it should automatically generate your Portfolio index page at yourblogurl.com/portfolio
If the URL doesn’t work, go to SETTINGS >> PERMALINKS
Without making any changes, click the Save button. Then, try to visit the page again at yourblogurl.com/portfolio
Changing the portfolio index page’s slug
If you for instance want to have your portfolio page’s URL to be yourblogurl.com/projects instead of yourblogurl.com/portfolio, go to APPEARANCE >> CUSTOMIZE >> PORTFOLIO SETTINGS.
Enter your preferred slug and save it.
Then, go to SETTINGS >> PERMALINKS. Click the Save Changes button to regenerate your links.
Changing the portfolio index page’s title
To rename the portfolio index page’s title, go to PORTFOLIO >> ARCHIVE SETTINGS.
Enter your preferred title in the Archive Headline field.
Adding a portfolio widget to the homepage
Go to the Homepage’s page editor. Make sure that you have a “Homepage” page template assigned under the Page Attributes.
Under “Content Builder”, click the Add Section button and choose “Portfolio”.
You can add a title to the section, and customize how you want the widget to be displayed.
Save the page when you are done customizing.
