Blissful : How to set up your logo

Blissful uses two kinds of logos: a light one and a dark one. We use the light logo on pages that have a transparent or see-through header.

How to replace the main logo (dark)

Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Header

Under the General tab, click Logo

Click the Change Logo button, then add your own logo. If you want, you can change the maximum width of the logo.

How to replace the transparent header logo (light)

Go to Appearance > Customizer > Header

Scroll down until you see the ‘Transparent Header‘ tab, then click on it.

Find the ‘Enable Transparent Header‘ option and click on it to activate it. We’re not going to keep this setting on all the time because we don’t want to apply transparent header globally. We only apply transparent header on certain pages. However, we need to turn it on while we’re adjusting the settings.

If you wish to use the same logo for both the transparent header and the main logo, you can turn off the setting where it says ‘Different Logo for Transparent Header?‘. Otherwise, leave the setting on and click the Change image button to upload your own logo. You can leave the ‘Logo Max Width’ field blank and it will just use the same size as the main logo.

After you’re finished, scroll up to go back to the ‘Enable Transparent Header?‘ option and switch it off.

How to replace the Sticky Header logo

A sticky header is a website navigation tool that remains locked into place at the top of the screen as a user scrolls down the page. This means no matter how far down you scroll, the header is always visible.

On Blissful, I have a logo set up in the Sticky Header section. This is because I want the sticky header to display the dark logo, whether the page has a transparent header or not.

Go to Appearance > Customizer > Header > Sticky Header.

Click the ‘Change image‘ button and replace the existing image with your dark logo. I’ve made the width smaller because I want the Sticky Header to be more compact than the original header.

Don’t forget to hit the ‘Publish‘ button to save any changes you’ve made in the Customizer.
