Genesis: How to Set Up Your Newsletter with Mailchimp

This is a guide to setup MailChimp subscription form on your website using MailChimp for WordPress plugin.

After installing the plugin, on your WP Dashboard navigate yourself to MailChimp for WP tab.

Enter your API key into the available field and click “Save changes”.

Next, still under MailChimp for WP tab, go to the Form tab. By default there is only Email and Subscribe button, but you can add more fields as necessary.

Next, click the “Settings” tab. Under “Lists this form subscribes to” put a checkmark on one of your available campaigns. Click “Save changes”.

Last, navigate yourself to Appearance >> Widgets.

Drag the “MailChimp Sign-Up Form” widget tab from the available widget tabs on the left to one of the available widget areas on the right. You can add more than one Sign Up Form widget and put it in multiple areas as necessary. Usually people put it in the Primary Sidebar, Footer, Home : Header, and Post : After Content.
