How to set up Shop My Post feature

SheShoppes Shop My Post plugin allow you to display affiliate widget at the end of your post. To enable this feature, make sure you have your ‘SheShoppes Shop My Post‘ plugins installed and activated.
Then, find the settings at Appearance > Customize > Shop My Post
In this setting you can customize your widget’s heading and choose to show or hide the widget on certain areas in your website.
How to create shop my post widget
To be able to display a Shop My Post widget under your blog post, you will need to create the actual widget carousel first. There are two ways:
- You will need to be a member of an affiliate network company, either RewardStyle or Collective Voice (formerly ShopStyle Collective), OR
- Create a widget from your own WP dashboard.
If you are using a code from RewardStyle or Collective Voice, you can jump to the bottom part of this tutorial to add the widget to your post.
How to create a widget from your WP dashboard
Using this method will allow you to upload your own images and your own affiliate links individually.
Navigate to Shop Widgets > Add New
Click the Design Library button on the top of your page

Click on the Shop My Post Tab, and click the slider sample in the folder to insert it into your page editor

Start editing the slider by clicking on any part of the slider to bring the editing tools up. Click on the pencil icon on the toolbar.
You can upload new images or select existing images from the Media Library.
Click the update gallery button.
Remove any images that you don’t need by clicking the X icon.
To add affiliate links to the images, click on each of the image and insert your affiliate link into the field that says Paste or type URL.
You can give any name to this widget. Here, I just named mine ‘Shopping Widget 1’. Finally, click the PUBLISH button to publish your widget.
Your Widget Shortcode

After you create your widget, you can go to your Shop Widgets overview (Shop Widgets > All Shop Widgets) to view and copy your widget code.
How to add your widget to your post

Open your post editor and look for the Affiliate Widget tab located below your editor box. If you don’t find the box below your editor, try clicking Settings > Posts, scroll down to the bottom of the section and locate the Affiliate Widget tab.

Paste the shortcode directly into the Affiliate Widget box.
Finally, click the update button to update your post. Your Shop My Post widget should now appear under your blog post.
