How to use the Daily Snaps plugin

How to change Daily Snaps title and permalink

To customize the title of your Daily Snaps, if you wish to name it something other than ‘Daily Snaps’, navigate to Appearance > Customize > Daily Snaps. Under the Title Archive field, remove “Daily Snaps” and replace it with your own title.

By default, the URL for your Daily Snaps Archive will be set to yourdomainname.com/dailysnaps, where ‘dailysnaps’ at the end of the URL is known as the slug. To modify the slug, simply replace the existing value in the ‘Index Slug’ field with your preferred term.

After making any changes to your permalink or index slug, you need to navigate to your WP Dashboard and go to SETTINGS > PERMALINKS. Then, without making additional changes, click the ‘Save Changes’ button to ensure that the new permalink functions correctly.

How to add a new Daily Snap post

On your WP Dashboard you should see a menu item called ‘Daily Snaps’. Navigate to Daily Snaps > Add New Post.

In the page editor, you should see a ‘Design Library‘ button at the top of your screen. Click the button.

Click the ‘Vignette‘ tab, then select the ‘Daily Snaps‘ tab from the menu on the left.

Each Daily Snap post can have a different layout. You can choose from Daily Snap 1, 2, or 3 depending on the layout you prefer. Click the thumbnail of the layout you wish to use, it will then be added to the editor, where you can replace the placeholders.
