Opulence: How to customize the “Current Favorites” section
In this tutorial, I’ll guide you through the process of customizing and editing the “Current Favorites” section on your Opulence theme. This will involve creating an attractive product slider to showcase your favorite items.
How to replace the featured image
Click on the featured image to open the block settings window on the right side of your screen. If it doesn’t appear, click the settings icon in the top right corner.
Navigate to the Style tab, then select the Background tab. Under Background Image, click the Edit Image button to replace the existing image with your own.
How to create a product slider to showcase your favorite items
To create a product slider, you have a couple of options depending on your affiliations and the tools available to you.
- Using Affiliate Product Tools: If you’re affiliated with companies like RewardStyle or Collective Voice, you can easily generate a product slider. Simply use the tool provided by your affiliate product company to create the widget code. Once you have the code, paste it directly into the HTML box on your site and save your changes.
- Using Our In-House Tool: For those who are not members of an affiliate product company, don’t worry! You can use our in-house tool by using the “Shop My Post” plugin. This option is straightforward and allows you to seamlessly integrate a product slider into your site. How to insert your widget code
Regardless of the tool you choose, what you need is the widget code. Once you have your widget code, paste it directly into the HTML box to replace the code indicated in blue below, and save your changes.
Click the tab title to switch between tabs, and repeat the same step with each HTML block.
Hit Save or Publish to preserve your changes.
