Pompidou: How to customize ‘My Favorites’ section

On one of the Pompidou’s blog pages, we have a ‘My Favorites’ tab that allows you to add your affiliate widgets. An affiliate widget or a shop widget is a scrolling feature that displays items linked to a page where visitors can purchase products using your affiliate link. It should look like the example below:

First, you will need to create this widget using this tutorial: How to create an affiliate or a shop widget.

Once completed, you’ll receive a widget code. If you created your widget on your WordPress dashboard, the format should resemble [sheshoppes-smpwidget p=3980]. If created elsewhere, the format may vary, appearing in either HTML or JavaScript, depending on the affiliate company. For example, a shop widget created at Collective Voice would look like this:

<div data-sc-widget-id="P-64b068f26eeed413f2915a4a"></div><script async src="//widgets.shopstyle.com/shopstyle-widget-snippet.js"></script>

Copy the shop widget code and navigate to your page editor where the My Favorites section is located.

Paste the code directly into the HTML block, replacing the existing demo code.

Click the tab title to switch between tabs, and repeat the same step with each HTML block.

You can also delete or add a tab. To delete, click on the title of the tab you want to remove and hit the X. To add a tab, click on any title and hit the plus icon.

Hit Save or Publish to preserve your changes.
