Scrumptious : How to edit featured posts on the homepage header

By default, the four featured posts displayed are the latest ones with the ‘featured’ tag assigned. However, you have the flexibility to change this setting to suit your needs.
Step 1: Access posts block settings
Navigate to your WordPress admin panel and go to the page editor for your homepage. Locate the Post Block that displays the featured posts. Click on it to open the block settings.
Step 2: Adjust the number of posts displayed
Find the option for the number of posts to display. Simply change the value to the desired number.

Step 3: Modify the tag or category
To change which posts are displayed based on their tag or category, locate the section in the block settings where it says ‘Filter by Category’ and ‘Filter by Tag’. Here, you can specify the tag or category of the posts you want to display.
To change the tag: On the ‘Tag’ field enter the name of the desired tag. The featured posts will now be selected from those with this tag.
To change the category: On the ‘Category’ field select the desired category from the dropdown menu. The featured posts will now be chosen from the posts in this category.
You can use both fields simultaneously to filter posts that meet both criteria.
Step 4: Save your changes
Once you’ve made your adjustments, don’t forget to save your changes. Click on ‘Update’ or ‘Publish’ to make sure your new settings are applied.
