User profile (about me) widget

First, go to the Media tab, and click the “Add new” button to upload your photo.

After image is uploaded, click on the thumbnail and it will give you meta information about the image. Copy the URL given in the URL field.

Next, go to Appearance >> Widgets.

Under Primary Sidebar widget area, you will find a list of widget tabs. Click on the “User Profile” tab to open it.

Paste the copied URL into the available “URL to photo” field, replacing the existing one.

Replace the “Link this to” field with the link that goes to your “About” page.

Save.
